Why learn from us?

- Our professional instructors are experienced, genuine performing musicians who are specifically trained to teach improvisation.

- There is only a one-time admin charge and a refundable deposit, and there will be no other extra or hidden charges.

Where exactly are we?
We are located in Bugis Village (just next to the BURGER KING at the main traffic light), a mere one minute walk from Bugis MRT. You can get here by MRT (stop at Bugis MRT) or by
taking bus services: 7, 12, 63, 80, 175, 197, 851, 960. 980 or NR7 and alighting at Parco Bugis Junction or outside Bugis MRT. Coming from Parco Bugis Junction is the easiest.

PLAY BY EAR music school is the largest 2-storey Contemporary Piano Music
College in Singapore that provides specialised music education in piano
Improvisation.
We offer only Pop Piano & Jazz Piano courses for adults in our school,
and nothing else. This is what we specialise in.
We are different because of the content we teach. Students with no musical
background or even Classical Music diplomas and degrees have come to learn
from us. Our students range from casual music enthusiasts to music teachers
and even accomplished musicians. We are not a glamorous, "expensive" type
of school that relies on celebrities to "link" students with us. Our vision is simple
- to impart the concepts of improvisation with an in-depth, proven teaching
methodology developed over 10 years - P.B.E.S
We are also official dealers for all major brands of digital pianos (from
YAMAHA, KORG, CASIO to ROLAND) & contemporary POP&JAZZ piano
instructional books and DVDs from HAL LEONARD.

Are you driving here?
There are several carparks around, however there isn't a public carpark in Bugis Village
itself! The four main carparks are Fu Lu Shou, Bugis Parco Junction, Iuma and raffles
hospital. Rochor Center offers the cheapest parking rate without ERP, however the
waiting time is very long. Raffles Hospital will be ideal, and will require 5mins of walk to
our school. If you are coming on weekends in the afternoon, please avoid Fu Lu Shou.
