Revolutionary custom digital piano studios – 30th September 2019
In most piano studios, a piano is simply placed in a small teaching room without regards to the room acoustics. Our custom built digital pianos are equipped with a 4:1 surround sound system, with stereo ceiling speakers as well as cabinet monitor speakers that is specifically tuned to the acoustics of each room to provide the best possible experience. To pair up with the awesome sound system, we have carefully selected a digital piano action with triple sensors, finely graded weighted keys, with an escapement action, to simulate the action of a fine acoustic piano as close as possible.
We put our hearts into designing this with the intent of providing students of our school, Play By Ear Music School, conducive and fun learning experience for their music lessons.
Donna Lee Student Recital and Jam – 14th December 2019
The year 2019 concludes with Donna Lee 2019, a wondrous student recital and jamming session held at the Blu Jaz Cafe. Our students performed their hearts out. Some of them sang, some played, some did it alone, and others in company of good friends and instructors. The performers were not the only one enjoying this event, as many of their friends and family came down to enjoy the music and ambience. The title Donna Lee comes from a jazz standard with complex and fast moving chords. We hope our students will be able to navigate both musical and life challenges with ease in the modern society where everything is moving and changing so quickly, we lose our sense of purpose in this world.2
